Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of transformational leadership style and work motivation on job satisfaction and employee performance at KSP Berkah Sesama East Java, with job satisfaction as a mediating variable. A quantitative approach was used by conducting a survey of 25 employees using a questionnaire distributed online. Data analysis uses path analysis with SmartPLS software. The research results show that transformational leadership style and work motivation have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction and employee performance. Furthermore, job satisfaction mediates the influence of transformational leadership and work motivation on employee performance. The research results show that increasing transformational leadership and work motivation can improve employee performance by increasing job satisfaction. Organizations are encouraged to implement strategies that foster job satisfaction to optimize employee performance.
