Abstract
The Purpose: the influence of work discipline and compensation on employee performance through work motivation as an intervening variable. The research object is the contract employees of Kaimana Hospital, West Papua with a population of 124 people. Methods: used in this research is a quantitative research method. The analysis technique used is the Partial Least Square (PLS) technique with validity testing, reliability testing and hypothesis testing. The results prove that work discipline has a significant direct influence on work motivation. Compensation has a significant direct influence on work motivation. Work discipline has a significant direct influence on employee performance. Compensation has a significant direct influence on employee performance. Work motivation has a significant direct influence on employee performance. Work discipline has a significant effect on employee performance through work motivation. Compensation has a significant effect on employee performance through work motivation.
