Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the influence of organizational values and work norms on employee performance in Dawarblandong District, Mojokerto Regency. Optimal employee performance is an important factor in achieving the goals of government organizations, and an understanding of the factors that affect them is indispensable to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of public services. This study uses a quantitative method with t-test analysis to examine the relationship between independent variables (organizational values and work norms) and dependent variables (employee performance). Data was collected through a questionnaire distributed to Dawarblandong District employees and analyzed to identify the significant influence of each variable. The results of the analysis showed that organizational values have a significant influence on employee performance, with a p-value < 0.05, which indicates that organizational values contribute positively to improving employee performance. On the contrary, work norms showed a significant influence on employee performance, with a p-value < 0.05. These findings suggested that in order to improve employee performance, the main focus needs to be placed on strengthening organizational values, while work norms may require further evaluation. This research provides valuable insights for local government managers in designing more effective organizational development strategies, by emphasizing the importance of organizational values as a key factor in improving employee performance.
