Abstract

Positive and constructive contributions to company goals are demonstrated by good employee performance. Examining how investigators’ work environment, work motivation levels, and rewards affect investigator performance is the overall objective of this study. Using Windows SPSS 27, this study employed a quantitative approach using multiple linear regression analysis. A total of 105 individuals, including all researchers, served as respondents in the sample population of this study. The findings of this study suggest a relationship between investigator performance in the Surabaya Police Criminal Investigation Unit and work environment variables with the work environment variable (X1) being 0.003 below the 0.050 threshold. Investigator performance in the Surabaya Police Criminal Investigation Unit is strongly influenced by the Work Motivation variable with a value of 0.008 below the 0.050 threshold, according to partial test findings. Investigator performance in the Surabaya Police Criminal Investigation Unit is strongly influenced by the Reward variable, according to partial test findings with a value of 0.000 below the 0.050 threshold. There is a significant simultaneous relationship with a value of 3,879 (F-count). Therefore, the performance of investigators at the Surabaya Police Criminal Investigation Unit

and the following three factors: work environment, work motivation, and rewards have a simultaneous effect.
