THE INFLUENCE OF LEADERSHIP STYLE AND WORK ENVIRONMENT ON PERFORMANCE THROUGH JOB SATISFACTION AS AN INTERVENING VARIABLE AMONG THE VILLAGE APPARATUS OF MEJAYAN

Abstract
This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership style and work environment on employee performance through job satisfaction as an intervening variable. The object of the study was the Village Apparatus (Perangkat Desa) of Mejayan District, totaling 30 people. The method used in this study is a quantitative research method. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling, where all members of the population were taken as the research sample due to the small number of population members. The analysis technique used is the Partial Least Square (PLS) technique with validity tests, reliability tests, and hypothesis tests. The results of the study prove that Leadership Style has a positive and significant effect on Job Satisfaction, Work Environment does not have a significant effect on Job Satisfaction, Leadership Style does not have a significant effect on Employee Performance, Work Environment has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance, Job Satisfaction does not have a significant effect on Employee Performance, Leadership Style does not have a significant effect on Employee Performance through Job Satisfaction, and Work Environment does not have a significant effect on Employee Performance through Job Satisfaction
