Total Quality Management and Sustainable Development Synergy for Company Performance Improvement

Abstract
(Purpose) This study aims to examine the synergy between Total Quality Management (TQM) and Sustainable Development in improving company performance, with a case study at PT Trufindo Asta Mandiri Surabaya. The urgency of this research lies in the importance of integrating quality management and sustainability as a response to the challenges of competitiveness and the demands of social responsibility. (Methods) Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data was collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation from key informants from various organizational units. (Results) The research results show that the application of TQM principles through the Quality Trilogy supports sustainability practices in a tangible way, both in operational efficiency, human resource management, and reducing environmental impact. (Implications) The conclusion states that TQM can serve as an effective strategy in promoting sustainable corporate development, although its success is highly determined by the consistency of implementation, organizational culture, and strong managerial support
