Abstract
The purpose of this research is to determine and analyze the influence of the work environment and work motivation on performance through work discipline among employees at the Sidoarjo Middle Customs and Excise Service Supervision Office. This research was quantitative, using census sampling techniques to obtain a sample of 119 employees. The results showed that communication had a positive and significant effect on performance with a probability value of 0.04 ≣ 0.05. Co-workers had a positive but insignificant effect on performance with a probability value of 0.25 ≥ 0.05. Leadership had a positive but insignificant effect on performance with a probability value of 0.132 ≥ 0.05. Communication has a positive and significant effect on leadership with a probability value of 0.000 0.05. Coworkers have a positive but insignificant effect on leadership with a probability value of 0.000 0.05. Communication has a positive and significant effect on performance through leadership with a probability value of 0.003 0.05. Coworkers have a positive and significant effect on performance through leadership with a probability value of 0.000 0.05 at the Pasuruan Type A Customs and Excise Supervision and Service Office
