Abstract
This study aims to analyze the Influence of Compensation and Work Motivation on Employee Performance through Job Satisfaction as an intervening variable. The object of the study was an employee of PT. Sharia Pawnshop Blauran Surabaya Branch with a population of 30 people. The method used in this study is a quantitative research method. The analysis technique used is the Partial Least Square (PLS) technique with validity tests, reliability tests, and hypothesis tests. The results of the study prove that Compensation has a significant effect on job satisfaction. Work motivation has a significant effect on job satisfaction. Compensation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Compensation has a significant effect on employee performance through job satisfaction. Work motivation has a non-significant effect on employee performance through job satisfaction
