Analysis Of Regional Original Income (Pad) And Regional Expenditures In The Sidoarjo District Government For The 2020-2023 Period

Abstract
This research aims to analyze the receipt of Regional Original Income (PAD) and Regional Expenditures in the Sidoarjo Regency Government for the 2020-2023 period.
The research method used is qualitative research with secondary data obtained from the Sidoarjo Regency Financial and Asset Management Agency.
The research results show that the trend of PAD and Regional Expenditures in Sidoarjo Regency during 2020-2023 fluctuates, experiencing decreases and increases. PAD development trends are always followed by regional expenditure development trends as well. The source of PAD that provides the largest contribution is regional tax revenue. Meanwhile, the regional expenditure component is dominated by operational expenditure, which is routine expenditure and must be budgeted every year to meet basic needs in the Sidoarjo district government. The contribution of PAD to Regional Income is 39.78%, which means that the Sidoarjo Regency Government has begun to be able to manage and optimize its Original Regional Income, so that Central Government interference with the Sidoarjo Regency Government has begun to decrease. The Sidoarjo Regency Government continues to strive to increase its Original Regional Income by exploring, developing and managing the potential and available resources so that Sidoarjo Regency becomes an independent Regency without dependence on financial assistance from the Central or Provincial Government.
