Abstract
This research is a qualitative study which aims to determine the accountability practices of financial management in the Rumah Padat Karya in Indonesia Surabaya . This research data is the result of observations in the field through interviews . The research method used is a case study. The research results show that in the financial management accountability of Rumah Padat Karya there are values such as: honesty, fairness and responsibility responsibilities that influence the practice of accountability in managing the finances of labor intensive houses . However, this research also found that accounting practices were still lacking and did not comply with recording and reporting standards for non-profit entities. This is because employees have different professions and the responsibilities they receive, so management’s understanding of accounting is still lacking.
