Abstract
The abstract contains a brief description of the purpose: This research aims to investigate the influence of innovative behavior and work culture on employee performance, by considering the role of work motivation as a mediating variable. The research method uses a quantitative approach with survey techniques with a research population of employees at the Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency of Southeast Minahasa Regency. The sampling technique used a saturated sampling technique so that the research sample involved all 34 employees. Data is collected through questionnaires that measure innovative behavior, work culture, work motivation and employee performance. The analytical method used in this research is path analysis to examine the relationships between the variables of innovative behavior, work culture, and employee performance. Research results: Innovative behavior has no significant effect on work motivation. Work culture does not have a significant effect on employee performance. Innovative behavior has a significant effect on employee performance. Organizational culture has a significant effect on work motivation. Work culture has a significant effect on employee performance through work motivation. Work motivation has a significant positive influence on employee performance.
