ANALYSIS OF TRAINING NEEDS, DEVELOPMENT, TECHNICAL COMPETENCE AND SOFT SKILLS OF HUMAN RESOURCES TOWARDS EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE AT MULYOREJO POLICE SURABAYA

Abstract
In many spheres of existence, including the professional, academic, and private spheres, enhancing performance is of paramount importance. The purpose of this research is to examine the impact of human resource training and development needs in terms of technical competence and soft skills on performance indicators for police officers serving in Mulyorejo, Surabaya. The researchers in this study surveyed 54 people from the Mulyorejo Surabaya Police Department. Making use of SPSS 27’s Multiple Linear Regression for quantitative analysis. Based on the findings of this research, training needs to improve the performance factors of police members from Mulyorejo Surabaya. The performance characteristics of the Mulyorejo Surabaya Police Members are partially and positively affected by development. Mulyorejo Surabaya Police Members’ performance characteristics are somewhat influenced by technical competence, which has a positive and substantial impact. Mulyorejo Surabaya Police Members’ performance characteristics are somewhat influenced by the positive and considerable impact of Human Resources’ soft skills. The performance characteristics of the Mulyorejo Surabaya Police Members are positively and significantly impacted by the Human Resources factors of Training Needs, Development, Technical Competence, and Soft Skills all at once.
