ANALYSIS OF FACTORS INFLUENCING VILLAGE FUND MANAGEMENT PERFORMANCE IN WONOREJO, MADIUN REGENCY

Abstract

Purpose This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the performance of village fund management by the Wonorejo Village government, Madiun Regency as part of the Good Governance principle. Methods This study uses a quantitative approach using the regression method. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire to 98 respondents from the Wonorejo Village community who were taken randomly. Results Community participation, accountability and transparency together have a significant effect on the performance of village fund management in Wonorejo Village, Madiun Regency. Partial community participation does not have a significant effect on the performance of village fund management in Wonorejo Village, Madiun Regency. Partial accountability has a significant effect on the performance of village fund management in Wonorejo Village, Madiun Regency. Partial transparency has a significant effect on the performance of village fund management in Wonorejo Village, Madiun Regency. Implications The Wonorejo village government should actively encourage its citizens who work abroad or outside the region to continue to participate and increase transparency in contributing to clean and equitable village development by utilizing social media. In addition, the government needs to improve accountability as part of the MERIT bureaucratic system with proper digitalization of financial management.
