THE EFFECT OF WORK DISCIPLINE AND WORK MOTIVATION ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE WITH JOB SATISFACTION AS AN INTERVENING VARIABLE IN KEBONAGUNG VILLAGE DEVICE

Abstract
(Purpose) This study aims to analyze the influence of work discipline and work motivation on employee performance through job satisfaction. The object of the study is the employees of the Kebonagung Village Office located in the administrative area of Mejayan District, Madiun Regency, East Java Province. (Method) This study is a quantitative study using Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis to test the model structurally where all research variables are latent. This study developed a research instrument using a questionnaire filled out by 30 respondents selected using the Nonprobability Sampling technique with Saturated Sampling. (Results) The results of the analysis show that (1) Work discipline does not have a significant effect on job satisfaction in the Kebonagung Village apparatus. (2) does not have a significant effect on job satisfaction. (3) Work discipline has a significant effect on employee performance. (4) Work motivation does not have a significant effect on employee performance. (5) Job satisfaction has a significant effect on performance. (6) Work discipline does not have a significant effect on performance through job satisfaction. (7) Work motivation does not have a significant effect on performance through job satisfaction. (Implications) The village head should encourage increased work discipline to improve the performance of village officials to be better. (Additional Materials) Evidence of influence is attached by attaching the Outer Model measurement image, Inner Model and Hypothesis Testing (Direct and Indirect Relationship).
