Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of leadership style and effective communication on employee productivity through work motivation of employees at the Tanjung Perak Customs and Customs Service Office. A total sampling technique was used, with 192 respondents. The analysis technique used was path analysis with the aid of SEM AMOS.
The results showed that leadership style had a positive and significant effect on work productivity with a probability value of 0.000 0.05. Effective communication had a positive and significant effect on work productivity with a probability value of 0.000 0.05. Motivation has a positive and significant effect on work productivity with a probability value of 0.032 0.05. Leadership style has a positive and significant effect on motivation with a probability value of 0.003 0.05 at the Tanjung Perak Customs and Excise Supervision and Service Office. Effective communication has a positive and insignificant effect on motivation with a probability value of 0.07 0.05. Leadership style has a positive and significant effect on work productivity through motivation with a probability value of 0.003 0.05. Effective communication has a positive and significant effect on work productivity through motivation with a probability value of 0.031 0.05 at the Tanjung Perak Customs and Excise Supervision and Service Office.
