The Effect of Government Support, Entrepreneurship Socialization, and Financial Literacy on Entrepreneurial Ability

Abstract

The combination of government support, entrepreneurship socialization, and financial literacy strengthens the capacity of entrepreneurs to face challenges, manage businesses effectively, and take advantage of existing opportunities, thus supporting sustainable growth and success in a competitive business ecosystem. This study was then conducted to review and test the influence of these three aspects on the entrepreneurial ability of MSME actors in Mojokerto City under the auspices of the ‘Aisyiyah MSME Institution. This study was conducted with a quantitative approach, using a questionnaire to collect data. The research data were obtained from 102 respondents who were MSME actors under the auspices of the ‘Aisyiyah MSME Institution and were selected using a saturated sampling technique. The data that had been obtained were then analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis, with the help of SPSS. The results of the study showed that: a) the t-test on the Government Support variable (X1) had a t count of 0.591 with a positive direction and a t table of 1.98447; b) the results of the t-test on the Entrepreneurship Socialization variable (X2) have a t count of 2.901 with a positive direction and a t table of 1.98447; c) the results of the t-test on the Financial Literacy variable (X3) have a t count of 3.456 with a positive direction and a t table of 1.98447; d) while the results of the F test, it is known that the F count is 9.790 and the F table is 2.70 which indicates that all independent variables consisting of Government Support, Entrepreneurship Socialization, and Financial Literacy simultaneously have an influence on Entrepreneurial Ability. However, the influence given by Government Support on Entrepreneurial Ability is not significant.
