The Influence of Competence, Integrity and Motivation of DPRD Members on DPRD Performance with the Commitment of Political Party Leaders as an Intervening Variable in the DPRD of Kaimana Regency – West Papua Province

Abstract
The purpose to determine the influence of competence, integrity and motivation of DPRD members on DPRD performance with the commitment of Political Party/Faction leaders as an intervening variable in the Kaimana Regency DPRD – West Papua Province. Methods This research is quantitative, with a population of 19 people as samples. The analysis technique used is path analysis, with the help of a questionnaire. The results of the study showed that direct testing of the variables of competence, integrity, and motivation significantly influenced the performance of the DPRD with a significance value of ρ < 0.05. The commitment of political party leaders did not affect the performance of the DPRD with a significance value of ρ > 0.05. The results of direct testing of the variables of competence, integrity and motivation significantly influenced the commitment of leaders where the significance value of ρ < 0.05. Indirect testing found that competence, integrity and motivation through the variable of leadership commitment as an intervening variable on the performance of the DPRD had a significant effect because the beta value was greater than the indirect variable.
