THE EFFECT OF WORK DISCIPLINE AND WORK MOTIVATION ON WORK PRODUCTIVITY IN THE WLINGI SAMSAT ENVIRONMENT

Abstract

Samsat Wlingi plays an important role in determining the amount of regional income obtained from Motor Vehicle Tax payments. This can be caused by the Work Discipline factor where there were 432 cases of Employee Delays in working. Then it is also caused by the Work Motivation factor which occurs due to the incompatibility of the Jobdesk with the employee’s educational background. So the existence of the Work Discipline and Work Motivation factors causes the Productivity of Samsat Wlingi Employees to be hampered. The purpose of the study was to analyze the influence of Work Discipline and Work Motivation simultaneously on Employee Work Productivity in the Wlingi Samsat Environment. The sample determination used the Total Sampling or Saturated Sampling method. The sample population of the study was 30 Wlingi Samsat Employees. The research data sources included primary and secondary data. This study is a quantitative study that uses a questionnaire as a data collection tool. The research data analysis technique used Multiple Linear Regression Analysis with the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) program. The results of the analysis and discussion can be concluded that Work Discipline and Work Motivation partially and simultaneously have a significant effect on the Work Productivity of Wlingi Samsat Employees, Blitar Regency.
