Abstract
This research aims to examine the impact of the implementation of Cooperative and Fostered SME policies on SME Performance at the PERINDAGKOP Service, Kaimana Regency, Papua Bara Province. This research uses qualitative analysis methods with data collection techniques including library studies and field studies through observation, interviews, documentation and discussions. group according to data obtained from 4 (four) active cooperatives and (four) active SMEs, the results of this research are Policy Implementation Impact Analysis ( The Kaimana Regency Industry and Trade Service (Z) conducted a validity test of triangulation data and used nominal and ordinal scales to measure the ordering and differentiation of research variables consisting of: Impact of Implementation of Cooperative Policy and Fostered SMEs (X) on UKM Performance at the Kaimana Regency Industry and Trade Service Office. (Y). This research was conducted at the Kaimana Regency Industry, Trade, Cooperatives and UKMs Service, especially in the technical field of Cooperatives and SMEs and on the recommendation of the Acting Head of the Kaimana Regency Industry, Trade, Cooperatives and UKMs Service, the research was continued to 4 (four) active cooperatives and 4 (four) active UKMs as samples in this research. The results of research and testing show that: (1) The Department of Industry, Trade, Cooperatives and SME must pay more attention to the evaluation function of the development of assisted Cooperatives and SMEs as well as categorizing in coaching between groups that have just started a business and those that have the potential to create employment opportunities. Because this evaluation will be the key to the success of the strategy that has been implemented by the Department through the Technical Sector. (2) There needs to be improvement in human resource management in the technical sector in order to maximize the monitoring and development function of the cooperative groups and SMEs assisted.
