Abstract
In this study, quantitative methods are used to evaluate the determination of variables that influence human resource development reflected in employee performance by considering the leadership style at the Exotic Komodo Hotel, especially its emphasis on transformational leadership. In this technique, the Partial Least Squares (PLS) Specification Model is used to analyze primary data sourced from questionnaires. The findings of the study indicate that compensation has a significant and positive effect on performance. The results show that compensation, competence, and motivation have a significant positive effect on employee performance. Furthermore, transformational leadership was found to strengthen the influence of competence and motivation on employee performance. However, the role of transformational leadership in moderating the effect of compensation on employee performance did not show a significant effect. These findings provide important insights for managers in developing strategies to improve employee performance through compensation optimization, competence development, and increased motivation with the support of transformational leadership.
