THE INFLUENCE OF VILLAGE FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT, TRANSPARENCY, AND HUMAN RESOURCES ON THE PERFORMANCE OF THE VILLAGE GOVERNMENT OF DARMOREJO, MEJAYAN DISTRICT, MADIUN REGENCY, MADIUN

Abstract

(Purpose) This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the performance of the village government so that governance practices can be transparent and accountable. (Methods) The study was conducted in Darmorejo Village, Mejayan District, Madiun Regency using statistical methods with regression analysis. Researchers collected 100 respondents randomly to fill out a questionnaire with a Likert scale measurement. (Results) Village financial management, transparency, and human resources have a significant effect on the performance of the village government in Darmorejo Village, Mejayan District, Madiun Regency. This study also shows that village financial management) has an independent effect on the dependent variable of village government performance in Darmorejo Village, Mejayan District, Madiun Regency. Third, the independent variable of transparency independently does not have a significant effect on the dependent variable of village government performance in Darmorejo Village, Mejayan District, Madiun Regency. And fourth, the independent variable of human resources independently has a significant effect on the dependent variable of village government performance in Darmorejo Village, Mejayan District, Madiun Regency. (Implications) The Darmorejo village government should improve and optimize village financial management, by providing complete and open transparency, and improving human resource capabilities in order to achieve goals and visions and missions. (Additional Materials) The magnitude of the contribution of transparency, accountability, and human resource competence can be considered in the attached F-Test (Simultaneous) and T-Test (Partial) tables
