THE IMPACT OF GROJOGAN LONDO TOURISM DEVELOPMENT ON THE SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC DYNAMICS OF THE COMMUNITY IN KEBONAGUNG VILLAGE, MEJAYAN DISTRICT, MADIUN REGENCY

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the development of the Grojogan Londo tourist attraction on the social and economic dynamics of the community in Kebonagung Village, Mejayan District, Madiun Regency. The research employs a quantitative approach with multivariate linear regression analysis. The research instrument was developed based on indicators that have been tested for validity and reliability.The analysis results indicate that the development of the tourist attraction significantly affects both the social and economic dynamics of the community. The regression coefficient for social dynamics is 0.691, and for economic dynamics is 0.629, both with a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05), indicating a positive and statistically significant partial effect. The multivariate test (Wilks’ Lambda) shows a significance value of 0.000, confirming a simultaneous significant influence on both dependent variables. The R Square values reveal that tourism development explains 41.7% of the variance in social dynamics and 44.3% in economic dynamics.
