Abstract
This research aims to analyze the influence of individual characteristics and job characteristics on work motivation and their impact on employee performance in the Public Works and Spatial Planning Department of Southeast Minahasa Regency. The research subjects were employees of the Public Works and Spatial Planning Department of Southeast Minahasa Regency with a sample of 67 people. The research method used in this research is a quantitative research method. The analysis technique used is Path Analysis with validity testing, reliability testing and hypothesis testing. The results of the research prove that individual characteristics have a significant influence on the work motivation of employees of the Public Works and Spatial Planning Department of Southeast Minahasa Regency, job characteristics have a significant influence on the performance of employees of the Public Works and Spatial Planning Department of Southeast Minahasa Regency, individual characteristics have a significant influence on the performance of employees of the Public Works and Spatial Planning Department of Southeast Minahasa Regency. Spatial Planning of Southeast Minahasa Regency, job characteristics have a significant influence on the performance of employees of the Public Works and Spatial Planning Department of Southeast Minahasa Regency and individual characteristics influence employee performance through work motivation of employees of the Public Works and Spatial Planning Department of Southeast Minahasa Regency.
