Abstract
The purpose is to find out and analyze the influence of competence, commitment and leadership style on employee performance through motivation as an intervening variable. Methods This research uses a quantitative research approach. In this study, the research population was 105 people, namely ASN Employees in the Youth and Sports Sector of the Kaimana Regency Youth and Sports Education Office. The data collection technique used in this study is to distribute questionnaires on the selected research samples. The analysis technique chosen to analyze the data and test the hypothesis in this study is the Structural Equation Model (SEM). To answer the hypothesis used, Partial Least Square (PLS). Results Based on the results of data analysis and discussions that have been carried out, several conclusions were obtained in this study, namely Competence has a significant positive effect on Work Motivation. Commitment has a significant positive effect on Work Motivation. Leadership Style has a significant positive effect on Work Motivation. Competence does not have a significant positive effect on Employee Performance. Commitment has a significant positive effect on Employee Performance. Leadership Style has a significant positive effect on Employee Performance. Work Motivation has a significant positive effect on Employee Performance. Competence has a significant positive effect on Employee Performance through Work Motivation. Commitment does not have a significant positive effect on Employee Performance through Work Motivation. Leadership Style has a significant positive effect on Employee Performance through Work Motivation.
